While I am a retired Catholic Priest on inactive status, I perform marriages in the capacity of a Non-Denominational Minister. I have been performing weddings throughout the Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties since 1971.
I perform weddings for couples of ALL religious backgrounds, and even for couples who want absolutely nothing religious at all in their ceremony. As a result of the thousands of weddings that I have planned and performed, I never show you Ceremony A or B or C to review, with you having to choose the ceremony that would do “the least damage to your relationship”. I have never used that approach. Rather, I plan each ceremony with the bride and groom so that the celebration is exactly what they want it to be. It usually takes one two hour planning session to accomplish this. The ceremony planned can be very traditional or just the opposite. HOWEVER, it is also a great joy for me to celebrate a wedding with NO planning time – the ELOPEMENT. I do speak Spanish. I also celebrate Quinceaneras. |
